Geographical range
Sundaland, Sulawesi, New Guinea to Solomons.
Habitat preference
In the Kinabalu survey several specimens were taken from 1200 to 1600m, and one has been taken on Bukit Retak, Brunei, at the latter altitude.
A single specimen was taken during the Mulu survey in alluvial forest at Long Pala.
Biology
The species has been reared from Pometia (Sapindaceae) by M. Bigger in the Solomons.
