♂ (holotype)

Oxacme calcarea Holloway sp. n.

♂♂ 6mm. This species is related to umbrodorsum, but is smaller and has weaker, more diffuse forewing markings restricted mostly to the postdiscal area. The discal spot is stronger, and there is a distinct marginal patch that gives the impression of an angle in the position where it occurs in more typical congeners. The dorsal patch typical of umbrodorsum is present but weaker. The male genitalia are also very similar to those of umbrodorsum, but have the distal part of the valve shorter, apically broader, and the cornutus in the aedeagus vesica is straight.
