Diagnosis

See the generic description; the unusual shape to the wings and the black patch on the grey forewing are diagnostic.

Habitat Preference

This is a rare species of lowland forest, all three specimens taken during the Mulu survey being at 150m or below. The holotype was taken by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak.
