Taxonomic Notes
The taxon delta is based on the female of contrahens, sharing the forewing facies of the male. N. insolita Schultze (Palawan) may be only a subspecies of contrahens.
Geographical range
Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo; ?Palawan.
Habitat preference
Only four specimens have been taken in recent surveys: from 300m in the Ulu Temburong, Brunei; from 250m and 900m on the limestone G. Api, Sarawak; and from 1050m at Kundasan on G. Kinabalu.
