Diagnosis

The subbasal angle to the forewing dorsum, in combination with the pale yellow and fawn patterning, is diagnostic.

Geographical range

Borneo, Sumatra, Java

Habitat preference

This is possibly a species of disturbed and secondary associations, two being taken in such at Bundu Tuhan, at 1200 m on G. Kinabalu. Other specimens are from lowland localities: Kuching, Bidi, Busan.
