Neachrostia diapera Hampson
Mimeugoa diapera Hampson, 1926, Descr. Gen. Spec. Noctuinae, p. 189.
Diagnosis
The size, shape of the wings and their general coloration resembles that of the hypenodine genus Luceria Walker (see Holloway, 2008), except the forewing lacks the oblique, pale-and-dark submarginal of the Luceria forewing. A dark discal spot is present, with a dark shade extending to the apex, but the other fasciation is indistinct but dark, punctate, angled, strongest near the costa.
Taxonomic note
Poole (1989) transferred the species to Neachrostia, as in the unpublished BMNH card index.
Geographical range
