Microblepsis cupreogrisea Hampson
Problepsidis cupreogrisea Hampson, 1895, Trans. ent. Soc. Lond., 1895: 287.
Diagnosis
There is general resemblance to Albara species but the broad whitish band of the hindwing is diagnostic.
The forewing in the female is slightly bifalcate, browner centrally, and the hindwing band is browner, less conspicuous.
Taxonomic Notes
The genitalia of the single Bornean male match those of Khasis material illustrated by Watson (1968), hence his association of these with type material (females) from Burma is likely to be correct.
Geographical range
S. Burma, Borneo, Sumatra (ZSM), N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat preference
The only specimen was from 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
