Diagnosis

The forewings are relatively narrow, a pale greenish grey, with an oblique fine black fascia, edged whitish distad, that extends in a more or less straight, oblique line from the centre of the costa to just short of the tornus on the dorsal margin.

Taxonomic notes

This species was retained in Eustrotia by Edwards in Nielsen et al. (1996), but the male genitalia are referable to Maliattha.

Geographical range

New Guinea, Bismarcks, Solomons, Australia, S. Moluccas, Borneo.

Habitat preference

A single Bornean specimen has been located, taken in a house in primary forest at about 750m on G. Dulit.
