Diagnosis
The medial row of black spots on the yellow forewing of the female is diagnostic. The male is more typical of the genus in appearance, but has the black costal mark smaller than in other Bornean species; the forewing has a more orange tinge, and the modified scales at the base of the costa are reduced.
