Diagnosis
The apical white patch of the forewing is variable in extent. The reniform is strongly excavated distally, with a small but conspicuous creamy white rectangle in the indentation. This is absent in Lignispalta diversisigna Prout which has a reniform of more typical shape but shares the apical pale patch.
