Leptocola marginangulata Holloway sp. n.
Diagnosis
♂ 19mm, ♀ 17mm. See the generic description for distinction from Papuacola species. The pale submarginal lines are conspicuous and straight as in P. costalis, but that of the forewing is angled centrally, the apex of the angle at the centre of the margin. Anterior to this angle the line bifurcates to embrace the obscure subapical costal mark; this is absorbed into a tapering grey costal band, basally very broad, in the female that is much more obscure in the male. The reniform is a rather broken, pale ‘B’ enclosed by the costal band in the female, but more conspicuous in the male where the medial zone is tinged bluish. The hindwing submarginal has a row of blackish triangles on its distal side. In the male genitalia, the valves are slightly more extended and less tapered distally. The aedeagus vesica has a small cluster of cornuti subbasally.
