Hippotion rafflesii Moore

H. rafflesii was recorded by J. Beck (pers. comm.) at 350m in an area of cultivation, orchards and scrub, 7km E. of Poring Hot Springs in the Kinabalu area in the course of a sampling programme for Sphingidae in Borneo.

Geographical range

Oriental tropics.

Habitat preference

(Lowland cultivation).
