See the previous species.
Taxonomic note
Poole (1989) listed this species under Bertula
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Taiwan, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
Only two specimens have been taken in recent surveys: in wet heath forest on a river terrace west of the Melinau Gorge at 150m; in lowland forest of the Barito Ulu in central Kalimantan. Older material is from the Pontianak locality mentioned for the previous species, Paku in Sarawak, Seramba, the areas of G. Kinabalu and G. Marapok, and Labuan I. It is probably a lowland species, as the apparently montane localities lack altitude data.
