Diagnosis
The wings are medium grey, finely and evenly fasciated with dentate dark blackish grey fasciae, giving an almost reticulate appearance.
Taxonomic Notes
Despite the atypical facies, features of male and female genitalia indicate this species to be a Glaucoclystis. The male valve has a slight saccular spur as in Bosara Walker.
Geographical Range
Indian Subregion, Borneo, Sulawesi, Bismarcks, New Guinea.
Habitat Preference
The species is infrequent. Seven specimens were taken at 1200m on G. Kinabalu in an area of cultivation and forest remnants near Bundu Tuhan. Further singletons have been recorded in upper montane forest at 1790m on G. Mulu and in dipterocarp forest at 170m near the Danum Valley Field Centre in Sabah.
