Geographical range

Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference

This species appears to be montane throughout its range.

In Borneo it was taken in lower montane forest singly at 900m on G. Api during the Mulu survey, and also infrequently at 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
