Geographical Range
Borneo, ?Sumatra (the record of notodontina from Sumatra by Bender & Dierl (1977) may be referable to talboti).
Habitat Preference
The holotype female was from G. Murud, Sarawak. The species has been taken mainly in upper montane forest at about 1600 - 1800 m on Bukit Pagon, Bukit Retak and G. Mulu, and also from similar altitudes on G. Kinabalu.
