Diagnosis
In appearance this species could be taken for a large Scopula or a rather fawn-coloured cosymbiine, but there is a distinctive black patch dorsally at the base of the abdomen. The hindwing discal spot is a small black ring. The underside is similarly marked to the upperside.
Geographical Range
N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java.
Habitat Preference
The only recently collected specimen seen is from a Pinus caribaea plantation at Brumas in the lowlands of Sabah.
