Diagnosis
The postmedials of fore- and hindwings together form a smooth and shallow curve that runs approximately parallel to the distal margins at two-thirds. Two main variants occur: with this postmedial curve entirely edged with a white band; with just a white bar at the forewing costa. There is usually also an irregular row of white patches submarginally.
