Diagnosis
The wings are paler pinkish fawn than in scitula, with clearly defined, darker, lunulate fasciae.
The distal margin of the forewing is squarer, with a slight central angle.
The forewing reniform is usually distinctly darker, reddish, and the subdorsal lunules of the postmedial are also more prominent and darker than the more anterior ones.
Taxonomic Notes
The male abdomen and genitalia do not show the generic features, but no better placement could be found.
The eighth sternite is not bilobed, the V-shaped sclerite is absent from the tegumen, and the juxta is much more complex.
The valves have a costal process, a central ampulla and are somewhat bilobed apically, but are differently ornamented to typical Dunira, have basal hair pencils and different setation.
