Geographical range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference
The only specimens taken in Borneo since the original specimen of A.R. Wallace from Sarawak are from stunted hill forest at 1200m on Bukit Monkobo and in lowland dipterocarp forest at the Danum Valley Field Centre in Sabah, and (in USNM) from 1530m at Kundasang on the southern side of G. Kinabalu.
