Diagnosis

The facies has elements of that of *rotundata and of the next species. The series of white flecks associated with the finely zig-zag blackish postmedials on both fore- and hindwings is pronounced, particularly in females. The submarginals are highly irregular and have black areas within their several indentations basad. The male genitalia are described in the diagnosis ofrotundataabove.

Taxonomic note

The general facies and male abdomen are typical ofCorsaand totally unlike those ofPangrapta*.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

The species is only known from five specimens: the holotype female from Sandakan on the coast of Sabah; a female from near Pontianak in the lowlands of Kalimantan; two males from Tenom in the lowlands of Sabah; a male from a roadside at 100m in logged dipterocarp forest near the Danum Valley Field Centre, Sabah.
