Diagnosis
This is one of the larger species in the genus, the typical pattern strongly variegated in black and bone-white, occasionally with an ochreous or brown suffusion that is often more manifest in the marginal cilia of the wings.
Taxonomic Notes
The taxon subterminalis was obviously misplaced in Blenina Walker and proved on dissection to be conspecific with ochreipennis.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
This is a montane species, recorded from 1200m to 1930m, most frequent at around 1600-1700m. One specimen has been taken in lowland forest at 30-60m at Labi in Brunei.
