Diagnosis
Both this and Cyclidia sericea Warren have brownish grey markings on a white ground colour.
In javana these are diffuse or, when dark, rather linear, whereas in Cyclidia sericea Warren they are more evenly distributed, macular, darker at the wing margins.
Geographical range
Java, Borneo.
Habitat preference
Only three specimens have been taken in Borneo, all in lowland forest (300m and below) in Brunei.
