Geographical range
Indo-Australian tropics east to the Solomons; not recorded for Australia (Nielsen et al., 1996).
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimens seen are from G. Marapok in Sabah and from Samarinda in the lowlands of Kalimantan, but these lack more precise data.
Biology
Moore (1884-1887) described and illustrated the larva as a slender semi-looper with the first two pairs of prolegs reduced and with A8 slightly humped. The body is greyish brown above, purplish brown below. The flanks are greyish white with a longitudinal brown line; the spiracles are black. The head is ochreous yellow with a black spot in front. No host plant was given.
