Diagnosis
This is a small species with blackish forewings and greyer hindwings. The forewings have fine, pale, zigzag antemedial and postmedial fasciae bounding a slightly darker medial area that is only about a quarter of the length of the wing. Distal to this is a much more obscure submarginal fascia.
Geographical range
Indian Subregion, Burma, Borneo, Java, Bali, Philippines, New Guinea, Queensland (Nielsen et al., 1996).
Habitat preference
There is old material in BMNH from the lowlands of S.E. Kalimantan and Pulo Laut, but the species has not been recorded in recent surveys.
