Diagnosis
This species is larger than its congeners and one of only two with a pale yellow ground colour. It could be confused with species of Heterostegane Hampson, but these are also much smaller and have a rounded, rather than angled, hindwing margin.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat Preference
The species is infrequent, mostly taken in lowland rain forest, but one specimen was recorded in lower montane forest (1000m) on G. Mulu.
