Diagnosis

The oblique division of the forewing, with the distal part being the ‘negative’ of the basal part, is highly distinctive.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

On G. Kinabalu the species was taken in small numbers from 1200m to 2600m. It was also recorded at 1780m on G. Mulu, and there are single specimens from about 1200m on G. Dulit and 1465m on Bukit Retak.
