Diagnosis
The U-shaped mark on the dull pale yellowish forewings is diagnostic; there is no sexual dimorphism.
Taxonomic Notes
Though the saccular process is apically broad and bifid, other male genitalic features, particularly of the aedeagus, are consistent with the definition of Brunia. B. badrana Moore comb. n. from Java and Bali is very similar in facies.
Habitat Preference
Three specimens have been taken recently in the lowlands of Brunei, one inland in lowland dipterocarp forest and two in coastal vegetation, including mangrove and disturbed areas.
