Diagnosis
This is a medium brownish grey species, the forewing with transverse variegation of the grey as well as fine but irregular dark lines. Males may have a white dot in the reniform area whereas females have it larger and black. The most distinctive feature is a fine white arc, concave distad, opposite the greatest curvature of the distal margin; the arc is lined with black that grades away to dark grey basad.
