Diagnosis
Both wings are dark blackish brown, the forewings with more of a reticulate pattern than on the hindwings. The hindwing margin is concave, distinguishing it from the similar Sumatran jacobsoni Roepke.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, ?New Guinea (Roepke).
Habitat Preference
Most specimens have been taken in lowland forest, particularly mangrove, swamp or alluvial forest.
