Diagnosis
The forewing pattern illustrated is characteristic of this and the next two species. The three are discriminated on characters of the male genitalia: doenialacks spining on the anellus.
Geographical range
S. Burma, Sundaland.
Habitat preference
The only Bornean material seen was two males from Bidi, Sarawak.
Biology
The larva was described by Piepers & Snellen (1900) as similar to that of Cheromettia species but smaller and bright green. An illustration in the collection of the Malaysian Department of Agriculture shows subdorsal yellow lines as in himalayana. The host-plant recorded was Erythrina (Leguminosae).
