Diagnosis
This is a robust species with pale yellow and black wings, where black on the veins produces a fine, longitudinally striate pattern on the pale yellow ground. The base of the hindwing is more broadly yellow. The distal two-thirds of the abdomen are dull orange. Its placement in Artona is discussed in the generic account.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The only specimen seen is the holotype female from Pulo Laut, a low-lying island off the south-east of Borneo.
