Diagnosis
The species resembles Ugia in general appearance but has a more rounded hindwing tornus and more distally placed double oblique fasciae; the outer component of that on the hindwing expands into a conspicuous dark brown dot at the dorsum.
Geographical range
Burma, Thailand (VK), N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines.
Habitat preference
The species is rare; only three Bornean specimens are known, two from 300m on G. Santubong near Kuching and one from the coast of Brunei at Kampong Kapok.
