Diagnosis
The forewings are pinkish fawn, lightly speckled with rufous, purplish and black spots, slightly opalescent. The medial area has an oblique bar, bounded by rufous fasciae that run parallel to each other and are sharply angled basad subcostally. Just posterior to the angle of the distal fascia, it is indented by a pair of black sagittate marks. These and the distal, finely black edge of the fascia are narrowly invested with white and purple, as are black dashes in the spaces of the distal margin, which has a central angle, and is also diffusely more rufous. The hindwings are a dull medium brown.
