Diagnosis
The species is like a small A. pygaria but is distinguished in the forewing by a narrow white bar dividing the apical angle and a broader one in the submarginal zone one third from the tornus.
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Burma, Sumatra (Kobes, in press), Java, Bali, Borneo.
Habitat preference
Bornean material is from Sabah at Kanigaran and Kidukarok.
Other Sundanian material has been taken mainly at about 1000m.
