Diagnosis
This and the next species have very similar facies, particularly the rather archipelagic dark green-brown markings on the fawn forewings.
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Hainan, Sri Lanka, Borneo, Sumatra ( HS / ZSM), Java.
Habitat preference
Six specimens were taken during the Mulu survey at 250-270m in dipterocarp forest on the slopes of the limestone G. Api. Two were taken by G. Martin in lowland forest at Barito Ulu in central Kalimantan. There is also material without altitude data taken by Waterstradt in the G. Kinabalu area.
