Diagnosis
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Borneo.
Habitat preference
On G. Kinabalu the species is infrequent from 1200m to 2600m. During the Mulu survey the species was rarer than astreus and taken mainly in the lower montane zone at around 1000m. However, several specimens have been taken in the lowlands of Brunei and one in lowland alluvial forest near G. Mulu.
