Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference

Four specimens have been taken in recent surveys over a greater altitude range than the previous species at 75m near Labi in Brunei; at 1465m and 1618m on Bukit Retak in Brunei; at 2110m on G. Kinabalu.
