Genus Details
Type species: subcostalis Walker, India.
This genus contains the two species described below. The facies is characteristic. The male antennae are ciliate, and the legs are extensively crested with scales.
The male abdomen has the eighth segment relatively unmodified, though the sternite has lateral rods from its anterior margin. The genitalia have valves as in the *Saroba *group of species, with a narrow, tapering distal part and a complex array of processes from the base of the costa to the apex of the sacculus. The aedeagus is slender and the vesica is small.
The female has the ostium within a complex, slightly folded zone of scobination at the posterior of the eighth segment. The ductus is straight, narrow, sclerotised, almost as long as the bursa, which has a looped basal section and a narrowly pyriform distal section. There is no signum.
