Plusia Ochsenheimer

The following species cannot be assigned with confidence to any of the above genera, though the nigriluna Walker complex and lectula Walker show some similarities to Plusiopalpa and Thysanoplusia respectively. The third species, megaloba Hampson, has a number of unique features and its status needs clarification in any morphological survey of the subfamily.
